The Mangaluru Udyoga Mela is a platform that brings together various companies,corporate houses,industries and aspirants from the different areas.
The Udyoga Mela aims at building a strong bridge between the current employment opportunities offered by a fast growing economy and the job aspirants. Recruiters from different industries spread across sectors like Manufacturing/Automobile, IT/ITES/EC, Construction, BFSI, Hospitality, Education/NGO, HR Consultants, Sales/Retail, Health Care, Pharma/ Para-medical have been invited.

About the Mela :
With a sole aim of helping the job aspirants of the Dakshina Kannada District and to bring the youth to the main stream, a platform is created, wherein employers could choose suitable youth for their company as potential employees. Therefore, the district administration is intending to organize Mangaluru Udyoga Mela -2015. The main mission of Mangaluru Udyoga Mela is to create a platform for employment opportunity to the job aspirants of the District, wherein various major private and public sector companies would participate.
The Mangaluru Udyoga Mela - 2015 will be held at Canara Engineering College, Benjanapadavu on the outskirts of Mangaluru City, about 30 Kms from Mangaluru International Airport. The `Mangaluru Udyoga Mela` is open to job aspirants of all qualifications across all vocational streams as well as regular educational disciplines such as Engineering, Medical, Para Medical, Diploma, ITI, Under Graduates and Post Graduates, SSLC, PUC, other courses and even un-educated youth.

The key features of the Mangaluru Udyoga Mela will be :
1. Employability Enhancement Centre - Comprising of trained and experienced counselors whose primary responsibility would be to guide the students to the appropriate job profiles.
2. Online and spot registration process with colour coding to identify different Industrial segment.
3. Adequate Infrastructure facilities. The campus has a capacity to accommodate more than 500 companies with required space to conduct recruitment process and also has computer centre with internet facility to help companies to conduct online aptitude tests.
4. No Registration fee will be charged for participating companies and job aspirants.
5. All logistical support will be provided to the companies/representatives participating in this event.
